Excellent value for money!
Having completed several hours of research on multifunction printers, I chose this model on the basis that it was the best of the bunch in its price range.
Printing quality is very good, and the wireless connectivity is a great feature. There are plenty of options to tailor the machine to your environment and usage.
I would recommend you have two people available for positioning, as it is pretty heavy and bulky.

Hefty, Slow and Average Print Quality
I must admit at the outset that I didn't particularly want a laser printer, but the boss insisted!. The MFC-9840CDW has a massive footprint and requires two people to lift. The warm-up time slows everything to a crawl, so much so that scanning and printing are laborious at best. The duplex unit is a good feature, but the overall print quality is mediocre: greys have a colour cast unless you choose to enhance by using additional black toner. A colleague's inkjet produces much better colour documets and costs far, far less to purchase and to run. On balance I am not impressed at all - it has all the features but fails to impress at anything, and at this money I expect a lot, lot more.
